Dating and owning a business
September 28, 2007 – 10:50 amMeet Michael Stajer. By all accounts, Stajer has it all: He’s attractive, single and owns a multimillion-dollar company in San Francisco. Sure, Stajer has no problem landing a first date, but subsequent dates and a relationship are more difficult to navigate. So what’s the problem? Simply put: He owns a successful company.
I’m not a multimillion dollar business owner, but I do work a real job along with working full time on my internet business so I can easily relate. I too have put my business before anything else as I see it as a means to freedom… REAL freedom, to do something I love for the rest of my life. I’m tired of not being able to make my own schedule, I’m tired of working overtime, and I’m tired of never having a weekend off like most people. Dating is especially rough in this situation, honesty from the beginning helps, but also trying to find someone as busy as you are is a good idea as well, that way they won’t be as demanding of your time. Online dating is a truly useful tool for busy people…
