OkCupid Puts on a New Facebook
October 9, 2007 – 6:27 pmOkCupid.com, a free online dating site, has announced the launch of its quiz application for Facebook. Once completed, the OkCupid Dating Quiz gives you your personality type and allows you to add it to your Facebook profile. Next week, the application will expand to allow users to take any of OkCupid’s 30,000 relationship and lifestyle quizzes and compare results with others.
I normally slam OkCupid, but in this instance I am giving them a huge thumbs up. Any dating site (at least one with over a million bucks to play with) who doesn’t have a presence on Facebook is just plain stupid. Facebook is a great place for quizzes, but I am still not sold on it as being the main draw for any site…
